The New Healthcare Law Is Income Redistribution?

Written by | March 29th, 2010

Sadly, for many of us Americans, the fear of fears are beginning to come true:

In one of President Obama’s off-cue moments, speaking to Joe The Plumber, while campaigning for President, he talked about spreading the wealth around… that one line so frightened many Americans, myself included, that it nearly cost Barack Obama the election.

Most Americans are hardworking, and believe in the freedom of the individual, and the Equal Rights of each individual to pursue economic opportunity in their country. By now, most of us know, the terms spreading the wealth, or Social Justice, are terms that stem from economic systems such as Socialism and Communism… these systems have been tried, over and over, throughout history, and the outcome is rarely, if ever, a very good one.  Such doctrines, are fundamentally un-American, and foreign to most American’s way of life and thinking.

Below are a few, very telling, and honest, clips:

In this clip, Democrat Senator, Max Baucus, openly admits, this newly passed health care law, is income redistribution:

In this clip, former Connecticut Governor, and one-time presidential candidate, Howard Dean, also openly admits to the same claims that many Americans were charging, prior to the passing of this law:

"…But The Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of "redistribution of wealth," and more basic issues of political and "economic justice" in this society." – Illinois Senator Barack Obama – (2001 interview, on Chicago Public Radio Station WBEZ FM)

While I am actually relieved that some of these Democrats are showing their true Socialist colors, and part and partial because of the great work of The Tea Partiers, and general citizenry; and while I am no lawyer, these open admissions raise potentially serious legal and ethical questions to me:

Constitutionally, where does it explicitly say, Congress can take from one group's earnings, and give to another group, regardless of their economic circumstances?

I truly believe, this open admission by a United States Senator, could be considered laundering of tax-revenues from The National Treasury! And by achieving this through a Congressional Bill, screams of  legal cover, and a serious breach of trust with The American people! It also raises questions of discrimination of individuals and certain groups of citizens.

I believe we should all be deeply concerned with these policies, and should potentially contact The United States Attorney General's office… as well as our local state Attorney Generals… as well as bringing more public awareness to this very issue.

Even The President's (above comment) own words, is a confession that the practice of "redistribution of wealth" is not, and never was, granted by our Constitution; nor by The Supreme Court!

If these people are not stopped, God only knows where they will stop!

“The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.” -Thomas Jefferson

The did and still do think our country is heading the wrong direction. My grandfather who recently passed away at 93, was a WWII veteran and one of the last things I heard him say about this country was that he thought WWII was over, but the Socialists have ended up winning many battles since the defeat of the Nazi’s. Slowly, but surely, our country has been taken over by Leftist Extremists under the visage of “the greater good” or “the common good”.The only true “Greater Good” is less government at all levels. People have no idea how prosperous this nation could become again even after a short time if the government just gets out of our way.
