    Great Quote.
Alas, I think all the False Hope and False Change is the Opiate of the useful idiot masses. Promise people a job and they might vote for you. Promise them money, without having to work for it, and you’ll win every time.

    Well said, Jeff!
I agree with everything you said, and would add:
The same principles, to a large extent, apply to those of us who think we will vote our way out of this mess. If the states resolved to dissolve the entire Federal Government, and provide a Limited Federal Government, in accordance to our Federal Constitution, then, we could begin to reset. At least that would be on our terms, instead of a calamity, that could take our country in God knows what direction.

Such a wise statement Patrick Henry made. He must have known that people would resolve to take the easy way out and believe in falsehoods because the words made one “feel” good. Words to me are fruitless unless actions back them up. I therefore, refuse to continue to be part of a solution that shows no courage and discipline to honor our nation and those who sacrificed their lives for it.

    Amen, Southernbelle! I totally agree!
Sadly, we have people in our Federal Government, who want to continue these ponzie schemes, and shell games – which give the American people an ‘illusion’ that things are going to be OK. When, in fact, longterm, they are making things much worse for our nation.
