When I read that statement by Samuel Adams, I can’t help but think of Colonel Allen West as an experienced patriot to fill a higher seat.¬†Hopefully, someone with his military credentials could quite possibly also have the spine to adhere to our Constitution as the legal document that gives the enumerated powers to the federal government.¬†Just my thoughts.

I really like Allen West, southernbelle. Patriots don’t necessarily need to be military men; but, there is no doubt, our military has some of the most honorable and decent people in our nation. We need people who thoroughly¬†understand our original Constitution; and, will defend it, diligently, against all enemies – foreign and domestic.
